CJCP's First International Trip
In fact, it’s often not the trip itself – the places we go, the things our group does while traveling – that make the trip so successful and fun. Rather, it may be the friendships forged and the interaction among the people involved that will be most remembered. CJCP students tightened the umbilical chord between the past and the present visiting historical sites as old as 3000 B.C. and modern shopping centers found today in Turkey. Definitely, I’ll have to let you know next time I am hitting the road. -Mr. Yilmaz
The trip to Turkey was a wonderful experience that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. My favorite city was Istanbul because it was so similar to New York. There were a lot of people and the city was huge! I personally loved the food, although there were huge differences as to what they eat and what we eat. There were also many similarities. I vow that I have never eaten as much yogurt as I did on the trip to Turkey. One of my favorite dishes was Dolma and cheese. We traveled a lot and got to see much of the city, but not nearly enough. One day I'll go back and finish my tour of the beautiful country Turkey. -Angeli CJ. Harris
