Earth Day Celebrated
Earth day was April 22 and celebrated
around the world. Here at CJCP our environment club made a great effort to
educate their peers about the environmental issues facing our planet. During an
in school assembly, the environment club sponsored the first annual Earth Day
Talent Show. By requiring all acts to be environmentally influenced, the
student body was both entertained and educated about global issues. Our panel
of judges awarded prizes to Brianna Smith (3rd place), The Grandma skit (2nd
place), and our 1st place to Alafi Lanier and his band.
